Give the Gift of Health!

Honor your loved ones by making a gift in their honor that will touch the lives of people around the world. Making a "Gift of Health" to Surmang Foundation helps us to provide free healthcare and improve the wellbeing and lives of thousands of people in rural China. The person you wish to honor with your donation will receive a beautiful E-card from Surmang notifying them and explaining your gift.

$25 — Vitamins of Hope
Many women in rural China lack the hearty diets and nutrition necessary for a healthy pregnancy. A $25 donation ensures both healthy mothers and healthy infants by providing vitamins for one expectant mother.

$50 — Kits of Change
For every woman that dies during childbirth, countless others suffer from injuries and infections - which are often painful, disabling, embarrassing, and lifelong. Our birthing kits help us to create a safe and clean birth environment, including items such as soap, plastic gloves, and sterile bandages. A contribution of $50 supports one birthing kit.

$100 — Empowering Women
Many women in China die during childbirth because they live beyond the reach of medical care. Gender equity is a big part of what we hope to accomplish. Our community healthworker program trains and empowers local women to help bring basic midwife care to even the most remote valley or nomadic camp. A $100 donation supports one healthworker's lifesaving work for a year.

$250 — Promoting Health
Newborns and young babies are particularly vulnerable to illnesses, especially in rural and poor areas. A gift of $250 supports the delicate transportation and provision of life-saving vaccines for infants, such as tetanus and hepatitis A and B.

$500 — Transporting Life
When health problems exceed our ability to care, SF steps in to help with transportation and extraordinary medical expenses. A $500 donation to SF's assistance fund guarantees that lifesaving medical services are not out of reach of the critically poor.

$1000 — Sustaining Health
SF's committed doctors see more than 10 patients everyday, treating everything from broken bones to tuberculosis. A $1000 donation supports one doctor for a month, guaranteeing that these lifesaving services remain free.

$2500 — Bridging the Divide
Clinics in the most remote and poorest parts of China lack the capacity to provide effective care. Satellite-uplinks allow us to improve the quality of service at partner clinics via distance medical training and remote diagnosis. Your gift of $2500 will help to fund the satellite-access necessary to extend such valuable training to one clinic for a year.

A Gift of Health represents a gift to SF's entire mission. We use your gifts where they can do the most good by pooling them with the gifts of others to help transform entire communities. And, because you are helping Surmang promote health and reduce poverty, your gift is tax deductible.
